DeepVA and NVIDIA Inception at IBC 2022

As a member of NVIDIA Inception, a free program that nurtures cutting-edge startups, DeepVA was present at NVIDIA’s and Dell Technologies’ hosted IBC session, “The Rising Stars of AI in Media & Entertainment,” discussing how to tackle the challenges of the visual age with AI.

DeepVA aims to provide perspectives on how digital transformation reshapes the broadcast industry and how AI technology can be users’ stirrups to ride this data revolution.

To many of today’s challenges in the media industry, AI can be a solution. May it be overcoming gender biases and producing more diverse content, achieving faster turnaround times in the news or handling the ever-growing amount of data, DeepVA’s media management systems can help solve these needs.

In DeepVA’s session, Founder Christian Hirth was presenting an overview of the company’s various tool sets, how they can be implemented and how professional workflows will benefit. With the right infrastructure, which NVIDIA and Dell Technologies provide — including the latest-generation NVIDIA RTX GPUs — these tools will empower stored media and archives, and make live productions smarter. NVIDIA will help DeepVA to evolve its product and lead the industry toward the future of broadcasting.

DeepVA CTO Frederik Böhm emphasizes the technical benefits of this program:

Our collaboration with NVIDIA gives us access to the latest hardware solutions and technologies that accelerate our innovation. The symbiosis between hardware and software can result in products that make a difference in the media industry.
