1. Organizer and company respon­sible for data processing

The organizer of the compe­tition “Lego PAC-MAN and EVERYONE IS AWESOME” is The Chainless GmbH with its product name DeepVA (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer”).

2. Eligi­bility and deter­mi­nation of winners

Partic­i­pation in the compe­tition is free of charge and is governed exclu­sively by these condi­tions of partic­i­pation.

Eligible to partic­ipate in the compe­tition “Lego PAC-MAN and EVERYONE IS AWESOME” are all persons aged at least 18 years. Partic­i­pation is not restricted to customers of the organizer and is not dependent on the purchase of goods. Employees of the organizer and their family members are not eligible to partic­ipate in the compe­tition. In addition, the organizer reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude persons from partic­i­pation if there are justified reasons, for example

• In the event of manip­u­lation in connection with the imple­men­tation of the compe­tition
• In the event of viola­tions of these condi­tions of partic­i­pation
• In the event of untruthful or misleading infor­mation in connection with partic­i­pation in the compe­tition

3. Partic­i­pation

Partic­i­pation in the compe­tition is free of charge. Partic­i­pation is possible from 5.07.2023 until the closing date on 18.08.2023 at 12 noon during the Inter­na­tional Broad­casting Convention. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered in the draw. Late entries due to technical problems for which The Chainless GmbH is not respon­sible are excluded.

Only one trans­mitted entry per prize will be entered into the compe­tition per partic­ipant. It is prohibited to use multiple email addresses/contact details or multiple profiles to increase the chance of winning.

4. Winning, notifi­cation and trans­mission of the prize

The winners will be deter­mined after the closing date by a random draw among all partic­i­pants.

The prizes will be provided by The Chainless GmbH.

The winners of the raffle will be notified by the organizer by email within one week after the closing date. In the event of undeliv­erable notifi­cation, the organizer is not obligated to make further inquiries and may determine a new winner. If the winner does not respond within one week after notifi­cation of the prize, the organizer is also entitled to determine a new winner. There is no oblig­ation to accept the prize.

The prize will only be handed over to the winner. An exchange, a collection by the winner, the assignment of the prize (including its individual compo­nents or a prize substitute), and a cash payment of the prize are not possible. Non-cash prizes will be sent to the winner’s home address by post, and the organizer will bear the shipping costs. The winner is respon­sible for any taxation of the prize.

5. Termi­nation of the compe­tition

The organizer expressly reserves the right to interrupt or terminate the compe­tition at any time without prior notice and to adjust these condi­tions of partic­i­pation if, for technical or legal reasons, the proper imple­men­tation is no longer guaranteed.

6. Data protection

In order to partic­ipate in the compe­tition, it is necessary to provide personal data. The partic­ipant assures that the personal data provided by him/her, in particular first name, surname and e‑mail address, are true and correct. In the case of non-cash prizes, further personal data, such as the address, will be requested from the winners after the end of the compe­tition as part of the notifi­cation of the prize. The data will be used exclu­sively in connection with the execution of the contract, beyond that only with the consent of the participant(s).

7. Liability

The organizer is not liable for damages caused by errors, delays or inter­rup­tions in the trans­mission, in case of malfunc­tions of the technical equipment and the service, incorrect contents, loss or deletion of data, viruses or in any other way during the partic­i­pation in the lottery, unless such damages have been caused by the organizer (its bodies, employees or vicarious agents) inten­tionally or by gross negli­gence. The foregoing limitation of liability shall not apply in the event of injury to life, limb or health or in the event of fraud­u­lently concealed defects.
