DeepVA is integrated into the meta-fusion workflow via an API interface. meta-fusion sends the audio tracks of selected videos to the platform. DeepVA processes these and returns subtitle and transcript files. If required, translations of these files or other functions can also be requested via the same interface.
meta-fusion is aware of the particular challenges involved in transcribing technical terminology, especially in medicine and the natural sciences. Nevertheless, the results from DeepVA have proven to be accurate enough to work without individual training or special language models. If necessary, a dictionary can still be supplied via the API to achieve a high level of accuracy even with the most difficult content.
