The Chainless is growing! We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Sales Engineer to help drive the next phase of growth for The Chainless and its product DeepVA, determined to bring AI to the European media industry.

Supported by a great technical and sales team, you will build out and be responsible for our customer acquisition processes for both our project-based business and our AI platform business.

You should have strong technical expertise and be able to make sound judgments and decisions based on your experience. You should be able to propose solutions that solve real customer problems through DeepVA and provide clear value and benefits.

Furthermore, you will provide technical advice to the sales and marketing team, so you must be very familiar with the key subject areas, the latest developments, and the most pioneering solution providers in the broadcast and media space.



  • 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solution Architect, or similar experience in the video/broadcast industry 
  • Strong presentation skills including experience presenting technical details to a wide-ranging audience 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, preferably in English and German 
  • Experience identifying and solving problems with a hands-on approach 
  • Experience interfacing with Product and Engineering teams  
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously 
  • Eager to learn new technologies and skills 
  • A willingness to get out and see people, with travel to meetings and events as needs arise 
  • Ability to work in a very well-organized and structured way with special attention to quantitative approaches and KPIs 
  • Ability to produce professional, well-worded, and well-structured materials for sales and marketing purposes 



  • Understand the video technology landscape sufficiently and be able to determine where DeepVA sit within it
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of DeepVA
  • Be an active leader in the role to advise on good product/solution fit
  • Be able to work closely with sales and marketing persons, to support them in opportunities from a technical standpoint
  • Understand customer needs and work together with our customers to design flexible and scalable solutions
  • Act as the main technical contact for our customers and lead the deal to a successful technical close
  • Support the sales team by identifying technical risks and issues and providing recommendations for their solution
  • Confidently present and demonstrate the benefits of our AI platform to managers and executives at all levels
  • Help new and existing customers to be successful with DeepVA
  • Guide customer PoCs and evaluations to successful completion
  • Manage and execute client-facing demos of our products
  • Be able to build strong and long-term relationships with our customers and partners
  • Above all, have a solution-oriented, positive attitude
